Exam Outline
All the questions on the Fundamentals exam are multiple choice. Most of the questions have four answer choices with one right answer. There are a few questions where you're asked to select all the answers that apply. You may see as many as 5 questions like this in your exam.
Typically your Fundamentals exam will consist of 95 questions. Prior to starting your exam, the AdWords testing center will indicate to you exactly how many questions you'll have. You need to answer 85% of the questions correctly and you have 2 hours to take the exam.
Please be aware they can change the structure of the test at any time. You will need to confirm all this with the AdWords testing center. They will tell you exactly what is expected of you there.
When you're taking a certification exam, you will not be able to use your computer to do anything other than take the exam. The testing center blocks all other access.
That means you won't be able to look up any answers online or use notes you've stored on your computer (which is another reason why this book will be so handy).
You don't need to install anything on your computer to make the AdWords testing environment work. You just click on the links and follow the directions presented to you. It's very intuitive.
Once you pass it will take a few days for the exam to show up in your account. And after you pass the Fundamentals exam you'll still need to take one of the other Advanced Exams to become Individually Qualified.
If you want a company certification you'll need to meet other requirements in addition to passing the exams.
